Similar to It Takes Two, a lot of coordination (of various skills) is required. I never anticipated a Trine mod scene, but hopefully people will take to the flexibility of the editor. For example, the thief can build rope bridges and the magician can conjure up items to bind them to. To get through each level, these three must work together to create paths, defeat enemies, and more. The way I got it done (a few times too, because I was helping a couple friends), is by using thief's grapple, then jumping into the trap door, and jumping out of it. Full language support for English, French, German and Spanish, and optional subtitling for more than 10 languages. Without this trick, I doubt I am going to try this long chapter again-! Is there anything I did wrong or the latest version fixed this? Instead, I spawned right in the battlefield. With the latest version on PS4, after I die, I do not "spawn back at the last checkpoint just before the trapped door".

I just tried a few minutes ago. I thought I'd let people know about this because the goblin King fight was one of the harder parts of the game on hard/hardcore mode. I jumped back down the trap door and the goblin King was dead, only 1 small goblin was down there. While I was up here, I could still hear the goblins attacking, I couldn't see the King's life bar or what was happening but I'd thought I'd wait anyway, 3-4 minutes later, the screen stopped shaking and the noise died down. Now when I swapped characters, I spawned back at the last checkpoint just before the trapped door, instead of in front of the goblin King. I stayed on the small ledge on the left (the one you land on when you fall through the trap door), and kept jumping to avoid the King's attacks, eventually I got hit by a random spear and died. Sorry if old btw.Īnyways, I was mucking around on level 10 (on hardcore mode, hard), trying to be a smartass and beat the goblin king with the wizard, by basically running around and letting the smaller goblins accidentally kill the King while trying to hit me. I haven't tested this 100% because I discovered it the night before I went away on holiday (still on holiday), so I'll test it when I get back to see how I got it to work.
